I borrowed this '80s cocktail dress from local vintage seller High Plains Thrifter (it's for sale!) for l'etoile magazine's holiday jubilee last month. It's the perfect holiday dress -- flashy, shiny and sexy without revealing hardly any skin. It also goes well with tights and ankle booties, though I decided to up the ante with some five-inch pumps for this photo.
Allow me to apologize in advance for wearing these glasses with this dress. Meghan (from High Plains) can't stand 'em, but I couldn't resist. I'm such a sucker for '70-style anything.
This dress is definitely one of those gotta-be-tall-to-pull-it-off pieces. I'm about 6'3" in this photo. Seriously. Wanna play basketball?
