R.I.P. Dear Abby

Pauline Phillips, a.k.a. advice columnist Dear Abby, died yesterday in Minneapolis at 94 years old. I never realized how stylish she was until today. I used to read her column (and, later, her daughter's version of her column) when I was growing up. I didn't always agree with the advice, but it seemed like a worthwhile service nonetheless. Rest in peace, Dear Abby. You were a cool lady.
