OUTFIT POST: Dad's Old Peace Corps Shirt

A couple years ago, I raided my parents' collection of old handmade clothes from their days in the Peace Corpes in Ghana, where they were teachers back in the early '70s. This top comes from my dad's wardrobe. I like wearing it loose or with a belt, which causes a kind of peplum effect. I paired it here with a black peplum skirt from Zara and a messy braid (my hair is finally long enough).

It's been a little quiet on the ol' blog lately. I've been preoccupied with relaxing post-fashion-week, skyping with a my new nephew, catching up with friends and cleaning my neglected apartment. Yesterday I went on the Seattle AIDS Walk with a group of coworkers. It was my first charity walk and so much fun!
