Black Leather + 70s Brown

There's just something about this shade of brown that's so uniquely vintage. I never see anything new in this color. It's like they stopped making it in the early '80s.

The '90s, however, is likely the origin of this thrifted leather pencil skirt. It's by Express! I used to love that store in high school. Does anyone still shop there??

So, the main point of this outfit is to showcase my new favorite accessory: a hand-cast sterling silver quill necklace from K/LLER COLLECTION. It's sharp as hell! I can't wear it with certain knit sweaters. And I had to take it off on the way to my sister's house over the holidays because I knew I'd be holding a baby. No nephew stabbing over here, thank you very much.
