Blouse, jacket and sunnies: vintage // Necklace: Florida farmers' market // Jeans: Urban Outfitters
It was only a matter of time before I posted a quasi-outfit-photo with the Space Needle in the background. I'm in Seattle, after all. My apartment building has a pretty killer view from the rooftop. They seem to design most new apartment buildings around Space Needle views here. Not a bad idea.
How was your weekend? Mine was a mixture of running around craziness and laying on the couch staring off into space. I barhopped with friends around my neighborhood on Friday. Then on Saturday, my pal Caitlin and I got lunch at a Korean restaurant and hit up Red Light Vintage. That evening I went to a dinner party at my friend Emma's house and sang karaoke at a packed bar (note to self: just because you love a certain Pink Floyd song does not mean you will be good at singing it to a crowd of people).
On Sunday I did at lot of the aforementioned laying around, then went to the classical recital of a new friend who plays bass in the Seattle symphony (how do I meet people with such cool jobs? I do not know). His wife, Angie, designs the cutest line of kids clothes (seriously, if you're in the market for kids' clothes, check it out). We went to a bar after the show and laughed and laughed for hours. I feel really lucky to know some of Seattle's finest already.
