OUTFIT POST: Harem pants, zig-zags and cat-eyes

This is about as "corporate attire" as I get. Black pants? Okay, sure, but they're going to be all drapy and harem-like. Silk blouse? No problem, but it'll have zig-zags all over. Sunglasses? Yeah, but in a cat-eye-meets-The-Matrix kinda way. You gotta make things interesting, right?

I wore this at some point during New York Fashion Week. The big gold chains around my neck are from my aunt Shelly, who was quite the fashionista in the '70s. I found an box of her old jewelry in my parents' garage the other day. It was a wonderful moment.

Harem pants are hit or miss. The whole drape pleated front starts to scream MOM PANTS to me. Plus who wants to have all that extra SAAAAAAAAG in the stomach/crotch area? Not me.

The colors look great together, you've got some interesting/eclectic jewelry pieces (a bit over done accessory wise for my taste), and the stiletto's are on point (the icing on the cake).

I really like the mixture of accessories you picked for this outfit. The combination of rings and bracelets have different metals and gems which draws your attention. I could never pull off Harem pants, but you look fabulous!
