Hey.

I'm Mary. It's nice to meet you. This blog is a tiny space on the internet to document my musings on style, travel and culture. Enjoy!

NY Fashion Week: Lela Rose

I'm more familiar with Lela Rose's bridal collections, so it was fun to get a glimpse of her ready-to-wear. Her aesthetic is all about classic, clean lines with neutrals and bright pops of color thrown into the mix. She used tons of different textures -- silk, cashmere, taffeta, gauze, tweed, sequins -- but the Peruvian-inspired collection managed to look refined, tailored, cohesive and expensive. I love that she's from Texas. There's not a drop of southwestern influence anywhere.

Lela Rose had my favorite beauty so far. I loved the orange lips and messy side-braids.
